Connor Strange

Freelance Events Technician & Founder of Connor Strange Tech

Based in South Wales, my journey into the entertainment industry started way back in 2014 through voluntary work with amateur dramatics society Penrith Players in Cumbria.

It wasn't until 2019, while working on a pantomime, that I found the creative spark that would eventually become Connor Strange Tech, officially registering as a Sole Trader on 1st January 2020 (Yes I know, great timing. If you know, you know)

Since then, I’ve grown my business into a multi-discipline production service, working across theatre, live events and broadcast. My credits include working with major production & broadcast organisations such as: BBC Wales, Timeline Television, ATG Entertainment UK, Crossroads Pantomimes, TaleGate Theatre Productions, EPIC.LAN, Esports Wales, Production AV, and Mark Jermin.

I specialise in camera operation and stage and event management, but am also skilled in a variety of other areas including: lighting, sound, broadcast production and much more.

In 2025, I was honoured with Event Production Service of the Year twice and awarded Production Futures’ Breakthrough Talent Award for Live Event Production Newcomer of the Year, recognising my creativity, reliability, and entrepreneurial approach to live production.

I’m fully DBS-checked (Enhanced), hold a Creative Industries Safety Passport, and maintain up-to-date COVID-19 safety training for screen and stage.
